AAGBI
The Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland (AAGBI) is a professional membership organisation for anaesthetists in Great Britain and Ireland. Membership is open to those doctors practising or training in anaesthesia, or allied medical disciplines, principally intensive care and pain medicine.
Our purpose is to promote and advance education, safety and research in anaesthesia, as well as the professional aspects of the specialty and the wellbeing of individual anaesthetists.

The MDU is a mutual, not for profit, organisation owned by its members. Established in 1885, we were the world's first medical defence organisation and have led the way ever since. We put the interests of our 200,000 members at the heart of everything we do.
Our purpose is to defend the professional reputations of our members when their clinical performance is called into question. The Medical Protection Society is the leading provider of comprehensive professional indemnity and expert advice to doctors, dentists and health professionals around the world.
We are a mutual, not-for-profit organisation offering more than 270,000 members help with legal and ethical problems that arise from their professional practice.
