List of corporate supporters

Below is a list of our current corporate supporters. We are very grateful for their ongoing support.

MDU Logo

The MDU is a not-for-profit organisation wholly dedicated to our members’ interests. Our team is led and staffed by doctors with real-life experience of the pressures and challenges faced in practice. We provide expert guidance, personal support and robust defence in addressing medico-legal issues, complaints and claims.

Our members have access to the largest team of medico-legal experts throughout the UK, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Medical Protection Society is the leading provider of comprehensive professional indemnity and expert advice to doctors, dentists and health professionals around the world.

We are a mutual, not-for-profit organisation offering more than 270,000 members help with legal and ethical problems that arise from their professional practice. This includes clinical negligence claims, complaints, medical council inquiries, legal and ethical dilemmas, disciplinary procedures, inquests and fatal-accident inquiries.

MPS is not an insurance company. The benefits of membership are discretionary - this allows us the flexibility to provide help and support even in unusual circumstances.

MDDUS is an independent mutual organisation, established in 1902, offering access to expert medico-legal and dento-legal advice and professional indemnity for doctors, dentists and other healthcare professionals throughout the UK.

We offer access to professionally trained advisers available to speak to you 24 hours a day - 365 days a year - and legal support and indemnity against claims of negligence.

Our advisers understand the challenges and problems faced by healthcare professionals and can help members avoid risk and also ensure that any professional difficulties that do arise are dealt with in an efficient and sensitive manner. We continually adapt and change with the times while maintaining a focus on providing our members throughout the UK with access to a quality, personalised service at a reasonable cost.

Wesleyan Medical Sickness

Wesleyan Medical Sickness
Wesleyan Medical Sickness has been providing financial support to doctors for over 120 years and today looks after the needs of over 90,000 medical professionals across the UK. Our Financial Consultants are trained to understand the specific financial requirements of doctors from medical school through to graduation and we offer a range of products specifically tailored to meet those needs.

Our parent company, Wesleyan Assurance Society is a financially strong life assurance company, frequently outranking competitors in performance surveys. As a mutual, Wesleyan operates for the benefits of its members and has no shareholders.

Wesleyan Medical Sickness is an exciting, new, free, online resource that helps GPs and patients find recommended specialists for both NHS and private referrals. All recommendations come from doctors who believe in sharing their knowledge and experiences for better patient care. We are delighted to say that supports the RMBF by giving a donation for each peer recommendation made, and promoting the charity through information packs distributed to GPs, specialists and hospitals.

The site was founded by a team of NHS GPs, including Dr Kartik Modha, Barnet GP and CEO, who has also pioneered online communication between GPs with his 3,000-strong Facebook community, Tiko's GP Group (TGG).

Lloyds Bank Cardnet
Lloyds Bank Cardnet has partnered with the RMBF to offer GP practices a card processing deal that will save money on processing costs while also donating money to the RMBF. Every time a patient uses a debit or credit card, Lloyds Bank Cardnet will donate a percentage of its processing fees for the lifetime of the account, and also donate a further £50 for each new GP practice merchant account opened.
