What makes the RMBF so effective is that the majority of our staff, Board and volunteers come from a medical background. This means that as an organisation we understand the unique pressures facing doctors on a day to day basis. Our volunteers come from all areas in the medical profession and help ensure that the RMBF is delivering the best support possible. 

How you can help

We are always keen to hear from our supporters and we have a number of ways in which you can get involved with the RMBF.

We have many rewarding volunteering oportunities, maybe you'd like to organise a fundrasing event or simply help to spread the word about the RMBF's work. Whatever you'd like to do, we'd like to hear from you.

Why your help is so important

The money and the time to help colleagues and their dependants in need comes from doctors and their families. We don’t receive government funding and we don’t appeal to the general public. That is why any help that you can provide is particularly important and appreciated.  

Helping at different stages in your career

At some times in your career you may find it easier to make a financial contribution. At other times you may find it easier to give a little of your time. Both ways of helping are  valuable and enable us to make a difference in the lives of those most in need.
