Legacies
Gifts in Wills help fund more than a third of our services - we simply could not do what we do without them. Your legacy means that the Royal Medical Benevolent Fund can continue to provide practical support to doctors and their families in times of need.
There are several different types of gift that you can leave in your Will:
- A specific sum of money (a pecuniary legacy)
- A specific item, such as jewellery, medals or your car (a specific legacy)
- The whole, or a share of, the remainder of your Estate after all other bequests and costs have been paid (a residuary legacy)
- The essential information for the inclusion of the Royal Medical Benevolent Fund in your Will is as follows:
The Royal Medical Benevolent Fund, 24 King’s Road, Wimbledon, London SW19 8QN, Charity Number - 207275
We recommend consulting your Solicitor when writing your Will, if you have already made your Will, you can make an additional gift using our codicil form.
Remember that any gift to the RMBF is tax exempt, and could help alleviate your overall tax burden.
