Sessional GPs Conference Report
Following the Royal Medical Benevolent Fund’s research study commissioned from Durham University on ‘Support for Sessional GPs’ and our in-house study on ‘Self Directed Learning Groups’, we organised a national conference at the King’s Fund in April 2011, Chaired by Dame Deirdre Hine, President, RMBF.
The conference was attended by 34 senior representatives from medical organisations throughout the UK, who discussed the findings of the reports and proposed recommendations on taking forward the needs of sessional GPs.
